When we first saw this spoiler video of Blaine (Darren Criss) talking to a puppet version of his fiancé, Kurt (Chris Colfer), during Thursday’s Glee Season 5, Episode 7: “Puppet Master,” we thought it was all sorts of adorable. Then we listened a bit closer to what Blaine was saying. And we started to worry a bit.
TVLine has the exclusive video clip, in which human Blaine is seen walking down the halls of McKinley talking to his blue puppet pal. (As Arrested Development fans, we’re finding it very difficult to refrain from making a Kurt “just blue himself” reference here. And in related Arrested news: Look! Darren Criss and Egg!)
But back to what Blaine is saying because it worries us: “I forgave myself a long time ago, I think it’s time I forgave you now,” Blaine tells puppet Kurt.
“You are right. Please forgive me,” Blaine (as puppet Kurt) begs his fiancé. “In this argument, I don’t have a leg to stand on.”

The question is: What exactly is Blaine forgiving Kurt for? TVLine doesn’t say, but spoiler king Michael Ausiello does tease that it’s related to a “divisive incident that takes place earlier in the episode.”
Blaine’s talk of “forgiving himself a long time ago” seems to be a reference to when he cheated on Kurt last year. So is Kurt asking Blaine for forgiveness about the same thing? It’s possible. But honestly, if Kurt really had cheated on his fiancé we’re pretty sure that Blaine would be a lot more upset right now.
Of course, rumor is that Kurt will end up cheating on Blaine with Elliott “Starchild” Gilbert (Adam Lambert). But all we know for sure is that the two will be singing a sexy duet in Glee Season 5, Episode 9: “Frenemies,” and that episode won’t air until February 25.
So whatever Klaine was arguing about earlier, we’re pretty sure that any potential Kurt infidelity had nothing to do with it. Which is good news, because we just aren’t ready to handle that quite yet.
