Bachelor 2015: Could Arie Luyendyk, Jr. Beat Chris Soules For the Job?
All season, a certain spoiler king has been saying that Bachelorette contestant Chris Soules is going to be the Bachelor for Season 19. But recently, a little chatter has indicated that it's possible Season 8 "kissing bandit" Arie Luyendyk, Jr. may be in the running.
A RadarOnline.com source revealed that The Racing Dutchman is definitely in consideration for the role. In fact, ABC is said to have hired a trainer for him, and he's working out daily to get into shirtless shape.
So does that mean Chris is out? Not necessarily. The 32-year-old farmer seems to have been set up for the role all along. From those secret admirer letters (which we're positive Chris came up with all by himself) to his "Men Tell All" totally not staged mini-date with that fan, the message is clear: Chris Soules is a catch.
While nothing is set in stone, Chris is flying out to Los Angeles this week to meet with producers. Whether he sealed the deal on his next gig remains to be seen.
We're a little curious how the farm boss is going to take two more months away from his land to film — not to mention the endless weeks post-show for publicity. Then there's the thing about how the girl who wins the show gets to move to Iowa and live on a farm, a thought Andi couldn't get behind.
But hey, at least ABC would save money on a personal trainer...
