Who Is Bria Anai Johnson? American Idol 2014 Contestant Background Info

The Etta James classic "At Last" seems like a fitting introduction to Bria Anai Johnson. The 2014 contestant on the latest round of American Idol belts out the high-powered number in the video below and has us asking where she's been all this time.

In the credits of this particular August 2010 video, the Lithonia, Georgia, native is listed as a "12-year-old phenomenon," but she's 15 now (or, at least, she was at the time of her audition). Honestly, Bria's mature vocals had us thinking she was long out of her teenage years.

For her Season 13 audition, Bria sang Adele's "One and Only" — and rocked some seriously-sparkly purple lipstick (provided by her momager-stylist) that Harry said his daughter would love.

The judges were blown away. "She's been on the planet for fifteen years!" Harry said, incredulously. She even made it into the Top 31 in the February 12 episode!

Then, she belted out Melanie Fiona's "The Wrong Side of a Love Song" during Rush Week.

This teen queen doesn’t have many videos posted online but, thankfully, there are a few social media accounts tied to her name. The first, @BeautyKillsYou_ on Twitter, gives us a snapshot of a day in the life of this talented young lady. She sings. She Instagrams. She hashtags (#BriaAnaiTakeover, for anyone interested in joining the movement).

Over on Bria Anai's Facebook, there are lots of posts related to Idol. True, that's not definitive proof this is indeed Bria's account but, if it is, she already looks to have quite the fanbase built up.

"As far as I'm concerned, the search for a superstar has already ended with you!" writes one fan. "Take it, baby girl!"
